Backdated to V-Day [Closed to Sam]
Feb. 24th, 2015 10:13 amEd was pretty impressed with all he had come up with. He was pretty sure that Sam had either forgotten all about his promise or thought it was a joke. He'd been serious though and had put some decent though and effort into all of this and hoped Sam would appreciate it or at least find it amusing.
The small table had been set up in back of her shop, complete with white table cloth and the nicest plasticware money could buy. The decorations were a mishmash of holidays. There was misteltoe hanging from an arch over the table and the candles on the table were Fourth of July sparklers in a menorah. A Thanksgiving turkey feast was on the table with green beer for them to drink. All in all, not bad.
Dressed in his suit he waited until the card shop closed and Sam came out the back before he stood up, straightened his suit, and beamed a smile as her.
"Happy holidays, Sam."
