Oct. 24th, 2016 11:42 amEd tugged at the collar and loosened the tie just a bit. Now that his meeting was over he could relax a bit. He hadn't wanted to go to the meeting but his father needed someone who spoke Japanese to help translate and he always liked to have family when possible. Besides, it wasn't really like Ed had anything better to do. If Audrey had a concert or something that night it would be a different story but he didn't exactly have a good excuse to skip out on the meeting. Not that his father would have thought Audrey's concert was a good excuse.
So instead of heading right how he stopped by at the bar of the hotel for a drink. He thought about going to Lara's club but sometimes a change of scenery was nice.
Sliding up to the bar he waited for the bartender to come over before ordering a whiskey. Once it arrived he took a sip and tried to untangle his brain from trying to follow a complex business conversation in two languages.
